What is GiveIndia?
GiveIndia is a non-profit organisation that brings together non-government organisations (NGOs) in India and provides a transparent, easy and instant medium to donate. Each project and NGO listed here is certified and tested for accountability and transparency.
How will my "Audio Rig points" be utilised if I choose to donate them?
1. You choose a cause (based on your Audio Rig points earned from SudeepAudio.com) from the list of diverse causes supported by an NGO. Click here for the donation catalogue (Adobe Acrobat file).
2. You need to inform us about the specific donation code (from the donation options) against redemption of your points.
3. We at SudeepAudio.com (parent company of Audio Rig) send the requisite payment cheque to GiveIndia on your behalf.
4. After detailed investigation by the NGO you choose, the beneficiary is identified by Give India and then the money is allocated and used for your chosen cause.
5. You then get a detailed feedback from GiveIndia on how the money was spent along with a photograph and details of the beneficiary. This takes around 6-8 months after making the donation.
6. Your 'Audio Rig' points get adjusted in your account (as applicable).
For example, if you chose a cause which has 75 points used for redemption and your account has 80 points, 5 points will remain in your account for future redemptions (till the Audio Rig card expiry date).
How do you benefit by donating your points?
a. Your Audio Rig points are used for a cause close to 'your' heart.
b. You are assured that the money donated (costs borne by SudeepAudio.com) is used by the right people (Give India) with a transparent feedback system.
Who are the people running Give India?
GiveIndia is run by professionals - alumni from institutes like LSE, IIMA, TISS and employees from companies like BCG, Unilever who have quit successful corporate careers to reach out and help the underprivileged sections of the society. GIVE India is also the official charity partner of the Mumbai; Delhi marathons.
